A way of thinking
- A blank page.
- No project starts from a template. It starts from what there is to say, and to whom.
- What is said comes first.
- Structure and copy come before colour: a website is remembered for what it says.
- Design and code at the same time.
- The design takes shape in the browser, with the real copy already in place. What is approved on screen is what goes live.

Three promises
Always with the person doing the work.
From the first email to launch, I’m the one who replies, designs and codes.
Everything in writing before work starts.
Before work starts, I set out in writing the scope, the timeline and the price. Whatever changes later changes in writing.
Launch is not the end.
Once live, a 30-day warranty. Then adjustments and new features, by the hour or by the job, from the person who wrote the code.
A project starts with an email.
The type of project, a name and an email are enough. I reply personally on the next working day.
